Hello all, finally we can
confirm that the Angkor Art explo is a go!!
A week long explosion
featuring the best of Battambang Arts.
It all Kicks off on Saturday
afternoon at 4pm (till 9) by the fountain on the riverside behind Psar nat...
A 5 hour party featuring
musicians and Dancers from Phare Ponleu Selpak (our partners in this festival),
interactive ice installations from Loeum Lorn, Live painting, BDB breakdance
crew, An Art bike installation, featuring pimped up artcycles that will be
ridden from Battambang to Siem reap (after the festival) stopping off along the
way bringing Battambang Art to the countryside....plus DJ sets from the
fabulous DJ Mojo (Cambodia) and Paradise Nights (Australia)
Local food and snacks will be
available, plus beer, wine, spirits and cocktails by the crew from Madison
Corner!
Saturday is just the
beginning...The Art Explo features exhibitions, parties and happenings
throughout the week. Venues include, Sammaki Gallery, #87 st 2.5...Make Maek
gallery, #66, st 2.5 and St 1.5 cafe!!
